My terms and conditions for the use of graphics from my site are at the bottom of the page. Because the copyright issues are the most important, these are listed first. Changes to my terms were made on August 6, 2000. Please read the latest - using any of my Web Set Themes requires a link!
In fact, Precious Moments plainly states their copyrights on their Web site.
And how about all those fairies and other fantasy art by Amy Brown
which we see tubed for Paint Shop Pro all over the Internet? Here's what
it says on the Web site's info page (click above logo to see for yourself):
Especially, PLEASE DON'T create Paint Shop Pro Tubes with Amy's art or offer it as free-use clip art. Not only is it against the law, but it's just plain mean... Please let us know if you see anyone on the web not following the above requests.
The best rule to use for Web sites (personal OR commercial):
NO IMAGE, NO MUSIC, NO CONTENT -
NOTHING MAY BE USED WITHOUT PERMISSION.
Update: On June 19, 2000, I received written permission from
Amy Brown to create snow globes using her fantasy art! Please read
the credits which will be given under each snow globe and follow the rules
for using them.

August 14, 2000, I received written permission from Kayomi, the artist,
to use any of her work as long as I do not use it for commercial purposes:
Hi, Joyce. Please feel free to use any of my images as long as your
purpose is not commercial. I'm so glad you like my art!!! Enjoy !!!

How about Cicely Mary Barker's Faery Art? These are probably the most precious of all! At least that's my opinion. However, they are still under copyright laws:
© The Estate of Cicely Mary Barker/ Blackie and Son Ltd./ Frederick Warne & Co.
I have not yet found a site displaying her art or tubing it for PSP that also publishes a notice of written permission to do so. I desperately want to know the answer/solution. I'm only searching for information so I can use these fairies, too! And legally.
Statements such as the one below will not help, and are useless, if the owner of copyrights sues the person using images without permission:
~ Disclaimer ~ I do not own nor pretend to own any rights to the above pictures, information, or literature. Those are the property of the Estate of Cicely Mary Barker. The background was taken off another fan's website whom I will look up... The fairy is the Sloe Fairy. The animated GIF is of the Candytuft Fairy and is from the Flower Fairy statuettes site. Information was borrowed from Jane Laing's book Cicely Mary Barker and her Art. Special thanks to Zivit for swapping flower fairy info with me!:) I think that's it... ;)

Copyright Procedures Within The United States A quote from this site: From the moment a work is created, the copyright is in effect. As an artist, you own the copyright with the first mark you draw on the paper. No further procedures are required.
My work may
NOT be distributed by any method or added to any other collections, either
on media or on the Internet.
A link to
my home page, http://pixelating.com, is not required but would
be very much appreciated so others can find my FREE graphics. If you DO
link, please let me know so I can add you to my list of Pixel Art Users.
UPDATE August 6, 2000: Themes (a.k.a. Web Sets) began to be added to my
site. They require much more quality time than anything else to create.
Detailed notes must be kept - such as the font I used for the navigations
buttons and the effects and settings I used for the font selected. Why
do I keep this information? What if you need just one more button? With
a text file readily available in each folder of each theme, I would be
able to fill your request quickly and easily. Therefore, the use of any
theme from Pixel Art by Joyce REQUIRES
a link to my home page. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You may use
a simple text hyperlink or you may use one of these linking logos:
